Audi A3 Cabriolet - 18 TFSI

The compact premium convertible market was non-existent until the BMW120i was launched last year. Its direct contender has arrived now, after giving the Beemer a headstart in this market. Does it have what it takes to be a deserving rival? You decide as we give you our two cents’ worth.

Looking good is a stereotype of convertibles. But there will always be some that look better, sleeker and more stylish than others. Audi cars have always boasted attractive designs and this third convertible from Audi (after the TT Roadster and the A4 Cabriolet) is no exception. Sadly, just like the Alfa Romeo Spider, having the looks does not necessarily equate to having good driving potential.
